Krad Lanrete初のフルカラーオリジナルプリントシリーズとして、2012年に誕生した「モザラビック・チャント」は、十余年を経た今もなお愛され続けています。
古代宗教音楽の写本から着想を得て、斑驳とした古典的なプリント表現に中世美術的な挿絵や装飾文字を融合。
プリントには彩飾写本に見られる装飾的な枠やイニシャル、聖堂のドームやステンドグラス、宗教的人物像を描き込み、ブランドロゴを忍ばせつつ、中世芸術の美を現代的に解釈しました。
■ポイント＆ディテール
プリント生地は古書の質感を模し、斑驳とした独特の色調に仕上げられています。さらに箔押し加工で彩飾写本の輝きを再現しました。
生地は落ち感があり、近くで見るとマットでありながら、遠目には柔らかな光沢が浮かび上がります。厚みのある布地は秋冬に最適で、防風性と保温性を兼ね備えています。
ジャンパースカートはジャストウエストデザインで、取り外し可能な文字模様のベルトがアクセントとなります。
上身頃はレースで縁取られたV字デザインを施し、胸元にはKLロゴ入りのオリジナル金属パーツを配置。さらに編み上げリボンが加わり、視覚的にウエストを引き締めた印象を与えます。
スカート部分はボックスプリーツを基調とし、裾には天幕風の三角レースをあしらうことで、神秘的でありながらどこか禁忌めいた荘厳な雰囲気を演出。
付属のベルトは取り外し可能で、着こなしに変化を加えられます。

■ Concept
Unfold the pages of an ancient manuscript,
where the key to history has long been lost.
Gilded illuminations weave floral knots,
ornate frames restrain the melody.
Notes that none can decipher sigh softly—
a hymn of heaven’s joy,
of divine wisdom,
of martyrs crowned in glory.
This kingdom adorned with faith
must be the paradise where belief shines eternal.
First released in 2012 as Krad Lanrete’s very first multicolor print, Mozarabic Chant remains beloved even after more than a decade.
Inspired by medieval religious manuscripts, the design combines the weathered charm of ancient print textures with medieval-style illustrations and calligraphy.
The print features ornamental borders, illuminated initials, domes, stained glasses, and sacred figures, with the Krad Lanrete logo subtly woven into the pattern—a modern reinterpretation of medieval artistry.
■ Point & Detail
The printed fabric mimics the look of antique manuscripts, with a distinctive weathered texture and hues. Metallic foil printing is used to recreate the luminous effect of gilded illumination.
The fabric drapes gracefully, appearing matte up close yet subtly lustrous from afar. With a thicker texture, it offers warmth and wind resistance, making it ideal for autumn and winter wear.
The lace trim restores the delicate design of the original edition with even greater refinement.
The jumperskirt is designed with a natural waistline, accentuated by a detachable belt featuring alphabet motifs. The bodice showcases a V-shaped lace-trimmed design, adorned with a custom KL logo metal charm at the chest, complemented by crisscross satin lacing that creates the illusion of a slimmer waistline. The skirt is constructed with box pleats and finished with triangular drapery-style lace along the hem, evoking a solemn and mysterious aura tinged with a sense of the forbidden. A detachable belt is included for versatile styling.
